Whatever role you choose as a Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Northern West Virginia volunteer, the rewards are immeasurable. You will touch the life of a wonderful child, to see the thrill in her eyes, to hear his laughter, to know that the parents and siblings have shared a special unforgettable moment, to help create the memory of a lifetime - these are the rewards. Whether you choose to work with our children or behind the scenes making the magic possible, you will know you have been at the center of a dream come true.
Volunteering
- Wish granting—as a wish granting volunteer your exciting role will be to actually grant wishes. You will be a part of a wish-granting team to conduct wishes in your area.
- Fundraising—provide assistance with fundraising events either on a committee or to establish an event of your very own with your business, civic group, or organization.
- Special projects– work with the staff to provide assistance for projects that are completed within a specific time frame. Examples: creating posters for events, assisting with medical outreach, using your unique skills to design a kiosk, or helping with office tasks.
