Laura is a 19 year old from Wheeling and her wish was to meet Mariska Hargitay from Law & Order: SVU, which came true. Her Father Gary, Brother Tim, and Aunt Mary were all able to join her. Upon arrival she was greeted by the television show EXTRA. EXTRA filmed Laura's wish, which appeared on their television show. She was touring the Law & Order: SVU set where unexpectedly Laura ran into Mariska! She was so excited, she started to cry. They met formally later in the day. Laura met the director, Eriq LaSalle, and other cast members, Chris Meloni and Ice-T, on the set that day.
Just when Laura thought the day was over, she was presented with the opportunity to be an extra in a scene. Of course, Laura accepted the offer and was swept off to have her hair and make-up done professionally. When asked which part of the wish was her favorite, she said meeting Mariska and the cast, but she couldn't just pick one part because it was all amazing. She also said it was the best day of her entire life and she is incredibly grateful for everything Make-A-Wish has done for her as well as other kids.

We have heard about Alien sightings, but never knew about Alien computers until we meet Jordan, 14, from Belington. His wish - an Alienware Computer. Jordan did his research and had his system configured with all the details printed out at his first meeting with Make-A-Wish. He selected this type of computer because he enjoys games and music and it is top of the line for gaming. Yes, that is the Alien sitting on Jordan's right and we are told that when it is turned on it really looks like an Alien. In his spare time, Jordan plays video games, tends to his pets, and likes to ride four wheelers.

Alyssa (top right) chose Disney and was thrilled when she was able to have lunch with the princesses in Cinderella's Castle.
Sisters, Desiree and Jasmine, (center) surprisingly both wanted to go to Disney. They had a wonderful time and were able to stay twice as long to accommodate both wishes. Would you believe that Jasmine met Princess Jasmine?
Walker (bottom right) loved his Disney wish. He was able to meet all his favorite characters and spend some time smiling for the cameras.
